Aria Review

Aria is basically about a girl named Akari who's an undine in training with the Aria Company which is run by Alicia. She does various things with her animal friend, President Aria along with two other trainees from two different companies, Aika and Alice. They meet all sorts of people on Neo-Venezia on the planet Aqua which is modeled from Venice on Man-Home.

There's really no plot or lasting storyline to Aria. It's a light-hearted series and just relaxing to watch. Akari, Aika, and Alice have no major problems to solve or have angst towards anything. They have fun just being together even though Aika can't stand Akari's personality at times but they are friends for the most part. Their interaction with each other is similar to the interaction of their bosses have with each other. They encouraged their friendship which they were the same back in their training days as well. The ending of the first season was pretty good as about every character in the series shows up for the New's Year Eve celebration. It really shows the theme that hanging out with your friends is a great thing to have and should be something cherish. The animation and the music was good for the most part which did its job for the most part.

Overall Aria isn't a series for everyone as I said before, it doesn't have a plot or a storyline to go off of. It's just a show to relax and not think about at all. Nothing bad really happens in Aria compared with most other shows now. It's a good thing to have a show that has a different pace to it. There's a second season coming up in next month which will be more of the same but it doesn't matter though to me. I'll give Aria a 4 out of 5.
